Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street rocks.

Juno. Rocks.

Now to see the 4 other movies that just came out that I want to see.

Also, if you like 50's 60's rock with a little country flavor added, check out The Ladybirds. My coworker Sarah is the singer and they are pretty damn awesome!

Behold! I have returned to the internets!

So Teresa's parents (well, her mom) rocks and bought her a new computer so we can have the computers and internets and all that jazz again!

I got a new tattoo. I'm going to post pics at the end of the blog. There has been so much stuff that happened... I'm not going to post it all... too bad. I hope all had a great Christmas and yay. I'll be in Sacramento February 18-28.

And now for pictures:

Ok, so this is from when the Tornado sirens were going off all night and there were like 5 or 6 tornadoes headed right towards us. If you have never heard a tornado siren... it sounds like the siren in the Silent Hill movie. Scary stuff.

I carved this pumpkin for work. This isn't the best picture, but it came out really well. Each department carved one for a contest and while ours SHOULD have won!!! it didn't.. cuz someone broke it. Bastards!

This is the pumpkin that I carved for home. It's Death from Sandman. If you haven't read Sandman.... READ IT

There's me lady in her Oh So Festive Christmas hat.

And that's our kitty Sadie!! She's fat..

And here's some pictures of me getting my tattoo!!

That's Karl. He rocks. You can see more of his work here. Just go to Tattoo pics, and then Tattoos By Karl.

And that's the finished product! Awesome!

And that's the original picture!

Cincinnati, Birthdays and Beer: In Rainbows

Ok, so this post is going to be pretty epic and picture heavy..

Last week, Teresa's parents were out of town. Her mom let us use her car while they were gone which was really awesome since normally we have to depend on the bus. So we really wanted to go somewhere or do something we can't normally do because of the lack of transportation. We decided to go to Cincinnati. It's basically like going to San Fran time-wise. Well, I guess technically, we were going to Newport, KY, but that is literally walking distance from Cincinnati (or Cincy as they call it).

There is a 4 story mall/aquarium right on the Ohio River in Newport. It's called Newport-On-The-Levee. Because: it's in Newport... AND it's on a levee!! ORIGINAL! So that's where Teresa wanted to go. The only problem was she didn't get off work until 3 and we didn't get out of town until about 4 so we got there about 6 and that's when the aquarium closed.. Oh well, maybe next time. The mall was ok.. It seemed like half was just for offices and such, but there was a really cool video game store that had a bunch of old games. They were also selling copies of her cousin's band (Black Tie Affair) which was cool to see. Apparently they are really popular around these parts.

So, we were at the mall and got hungry. Of course, being a mall, there were quite a few eateries, but since we were in Cincinnati, we wanted to go to Gold Star Chili since Cincy is the closest place to here that has them. For those of you not "in the know", Gold Star is a place that makes 3-way Chili (or spaghetti). And if you don't know what that is, you are missing out on something amazing. Apparently Gold Star is THE BEST place to get it. Unfortunately, we couldn't get to one very easily, so we ended up at Johnny Rockets, which was ok, but ridiculously expensive.

Then we went out to the city. One of the first thing we stumbled across was:

This boat: The U.S.S. NIGHTMARE!!! (scary...) It's a Halloween Horror type place that's out on a boat! How cool. You know what's not cool? The fact that they are closed Mon and Tuesday. Guess what day it was! MONDAY!! So, unfortunately, we were not able to partake in this adventure.

Then, we went back to the car to make sure that the parking really was "All Day". I didn't want to get towed like I did in San Fran since that was such a wonderful experience. We took some more pics on the way to the parking lot.

Teresa's so cute!

See!

Random graffiti and toilets in an alley.

An ad for the aquarium. There was one that said "Newport-On-The-Levee: See fish. Eat Fish" Or something to that effect.

These are some pics of this old church we passed. I just thought it looked cool since it was covered with IVY.

This is the pedestrian bridge that we crossed from Newport into Cincinnati.

The river. And then Teresa thought I looked cool in this light.

Cincy pics.

This was a fountain in the middle of a square in town where they had this huge part for the Bengals going on. Basically, if you couldn't make it to the game, there was live music, food, and they projected the game on the side of a building so everyone could watch. It was really cool and full of energy.

A random zombie nurse girl who is so cool she put the camera out of focus.

Here's the party thing.

And a cool building with a car on it...

So, Cincinnati was cool and fun. I hope we can go back soon.

Since yesterday was my birthday, my coworker Dony (who has an amazing house) decided to have Teresa and I over for drinks and such. This is on the way to his house. It's an outhouse. In someone's yard.

This is also in someone's yard.... not the same person though. This house was ridiculously huge and they had a stream and waterfall and everything in their yard.

This is the "Lab Shooter Set" that Teresa got me for my birthday. It's 6 shot glasses (each has a Halloween picture on it) and six different flavored mixes in test tubes.

It's really cool.

She also got me a drink mixer/martini shaker thing. The really cool thing about it is that it has a bunch of drinks listed around the top, and you just turn the outer (black) part till the drink lines up, and it lists the amounts and ingredients down the side.

I finally was able to try the Pumpkin Ale at work and it wasn't that great.

Ugh.. I don't feel like writing anymore... In Rainbows (Radiohead's new CD) IS AWESOME!

Otanjyoubi Omedetou=Happy Birthday

Well, I have a post to put up about going to Cincinnati last Monday, but I'm tired and it's 1 am and I just turned 21! Yay for me.

I got a free cake from work.. but I already ate a big chunk, so I can't put a pic up. Teresa got me a sweet drink mixer martini shaker kind of thing. It has a thing on the outside so when you turn it, there is a drink listed at the top and the ingredients down the side. Plus she got me a Science Lab drink mix set which is sooo cool looking. It's got like 6 shot glasses (all with Halloween designs) and 6 different flavors for adding to drinks. And they are all in this metal stand thing. I'll post pictures tomorrow. PLUS she got me 2 martini glasses (can't drink alone can I?)

Anywho, I'll put up pics tomorrow and blog about our epic Cincy Natty trip.

Night Hike In The Woods Of Kentucky

So today we went to my coworker Dony's house. It was the best house ever! It was way out in the woods, right up against a creek with an old gristmill on it. We went down by the mill and down to the creek. Oh, it was nighttime.. So there were no lights at all.

All those are pictures of the front of the mill. It is no longer in use, but Dony said that they used to do period reenactments every weekend. He said it was built back in the mid 1800s. We didn't take that many pictures since it was pitch black (we had no flashlights btw) but he said we can come back during the day sometime..

The whole purpose of the trip out to Dony's was to go on this night hike down to this graveyard in the middle of the woods. REALLY in the MIDDLE of the woods. It was sooo dark by the time we got down there. And there were only six of us that went.. So dark.

It was an old family graveyard owned by the people that own the land Dony lives on.

This is the entrance.

Remember, this is in the MIDDLE OF THE WOODS. No houses for about a mile, and woods so dense you could hardly see.

This is the angel on one side of the enrance.

These are the graves. They are from about 1996 and up. But Dony said there were a couple that were a lot older. There are also some graves in front of his house from the 1700s.

It was one of the coolest things I have ever done. I can't wait to go back there.
